Jubilee 2025: The Templars in Official Service at the Vatican

It is with profound honor and devotion that the Templars announce their official participation in the Jubilee 2025, an extraordinary event that Pope Francis has dedicated to Hope.

Thanks to an official agreement signed with the Dicastery for Evangelization, the Templars have been called to play a leading role in the custodianship and reception of pilgrims at the most symbolic places of Christianity: St. Peter’s Square, the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls and the Basilica of San Lorenzo in Lucina.

Throughout the Jubilee year, the Templars ensure constant service at the sacred sites of the Vatican, contributing to the safety, order, and support of the faithful arriving from every corner of the world to experience this moment of grace.

Furthermore, the Templars have had the honor of actively collaborating in the opening of the Domus Spei, the official house dedicated to the volunteers of the Jubilee (see article).

Worthy of note is the service provided during the visit of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, the services during the funeral of Pope Francis, the Conclave, the election and first activities of Pope Leo XIV, and the hundreds of receptions of Pilgrims, Faithful and Dioceses from all over the world, and finally the Templar Jubilee of May 4, which saw the presence of 600 Templars from all over the world.

A solemn commitment that the Templars embrace with responsibility and faith, renewing their historic oath:

Non nobis Domine, non nobis, sed nomini Tuo da gloriam!
