The event “The sarcophagus found in Verona and the Templars”
Saturday 21 April 2018 will be held the historical-scientific conference “The sarcophagus found in Verona and the Templars” at the auditorium of the parish of San Fermo Maggiore in Verona.
The free international conference will show the scientific research on the discovery of the only tomb that probably contains the remains of the Master General of the Temple Order “Arnau de Torroja” (b. 1122 – d. 1184).
Organization and collaborations
Important collaborations and participations. In particular, the event is organized together with the Scientific Coordination for the research on Religious Military Orders, with the Diocese of Verona and the Diocesan Museum of Art in San Fermo Maggiore – Verona.
