The Templars at the audience with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV with collaborators and volunteers for the Jubilee – Paul VI Hall – Vatican City

On the morning of 10 January 2026, Pope Leo XIV met with the collaborators and volunteers of the 2025 Jubilee in the Vatican's Paul VI Hall to thank them for their support in organising the event, which was coordinated by Monsignor Rino Fisichella, pro-prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelisation.

Numerous ecclesiastical and civil authorities, representatives of associations and voluntary organisations, and several cardinals attended the audience, as did the President of the Council of the Italian Republic, Giorgia Meloni, which testified to the event's institutional and international significance.

Among the attendees were 450 Templars, representing the over 800 who served actively during the Jubilee Year, as well as the over 3,000 Templars operating worldwide and hailing from various countries.

On behalf of all the Templars present, the Magister Templi, Fra Mauro Giorgio Ferretti, expressed his deep gratitude to His Holiness and presented him with an icon of the Virgin Mary, symbolising devotion, trust and spiritual communion with the Successor of Peter.

10 January 2026 will be remembered as the day of the first official and close meeting between the Templars and the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, representing a moment of communion, recognition and direct dialogue between the two parties.

Non Nobis Domine, non nobis, sed Nomini Tuo da gloriam.
